At Rainbird we offer a wide range of additional services as a part of the restoration process, sometimes they are optional/personal preference as a part of a restoration and sometimes is a necessity.

Re-screw

Sometimes only some screws need replacing, sometimes a full re-screw is required. If needed, this means all old or rusted roof screws will be replaced with new, high-quality fasteners. This helps secure metal roofing sheets properly again and prevents lifting, leaks, and ongoing deterioration.

Paint Strip

Every now and again we come across a roof that needs more than just the standard pressure wash. This means we need to take additional steps in order to remove of old, flaking, or failing paint from roof surfaces or trims to prepare for restoration or repainting. This ensures better adhesion and a longer-lasting, professional finish.

Remove / Install Whirlybirds

Often customers ask if it's possible to remove and replace old whirlybirds, install new whirlybirds or relocate a whirlybird. This is absolutely something we can do! The purpose of whirlybirds is to provide proper ventilation which helps reduce heat build-up, moisture, and condensation in the roof cavity.

Paint Gables

Preparation and repainting of roof gable ends to improve appearance and protect exposed materials from weather damage. This also helps enhance the overall finish of the roof line.

Replace Dektite (Flashing Boots)

Replacement of worn or cracked Dektite rubber flashings around roof penetrations such as pipes and vents. This prevents water leaks and is essential for maintaining a watertight roof system.

Replace Roof Sheets (Tin / Metal Restoration)

Removal and replacement of damaged or heavily corroded metal roofing sheets. This service restores both the structural strength and appearance of your roof while ensuring long-term weather protection.
