Roof Colours: What colours are available and which are the most popular

Choosing the right roof colour can completely transform the look of your home and is, understandably, one of the biggest topics of discussions with our customers when it comes to their roof restoration. At Rainbird Roofing, we offer a wide range of roof colorus to suit every home; from modern dark tones to classic neutral shades. Some of the most popular colours at the moment include; Monument, Basalt, Charcoal, Southerly, Shale Grey and Surfmist. 

Darker colours can create modern, bold appearance, while lighter colours often help reflect heat and provide a fresh, coastal look. The best roof colour fo your home will depend on factors such as your home’s exterior colours, surrounding environment and personal preference.

We provide each and every customer with a colour chart at the very start of the process. This is to provide the customer with the most amount of time possible to go through the options and make an informed decision. We currently use IRC (Industrial Roof Coating) products and colourchart, however if you can’t find the colour you where after we can have any colourbond colour mixed and made at your request. 

As great as it is to be able to have all the colour choices at your fingertips, weather than be online or paperbased (printed), we always encourage customers to see colours as up close and in person as possible. This is because screen’s and printers always potentially vary slightly and you can’t guarentee your seeing the true colour. We can provide examples of work we have already been done but it is also a good idea to visit somewhere local to you (anywhere that offers colourbond range) and get yourselves some paint samples.
